BlueBin Program Manager

The Program Manager (PM) is the primary client site leader and is responsible for tactical oversight, operational management, execution, and training of the BlueBin management system in varying healthcare environments.  The PM optimizes supply chain services in order to minimize cost and support our value driven supply system, as they align with the strategies and project plans set by senior leadership.

This role is multi-faceted and requires a dynamic individual with experience in lean transformation projects as well as healthcare supply chain operations. Our ideal candidate is a good team leader with charismatic customer service abilities, an eye for detail, and drive for continuous improvement.

Required Education/Training:

  • Five or more years of experience in continuous improvement, supply chain, manufacturing, or other applicable industries (preferred experience in healthcare supply chain activities)
  • Bachelor’s degree (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in an applicable field from an accredited institution
  • Expert in lean operations and best-in-class supply chain process/management techniques

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Able to design, lead, and implement kanban/lean replenishment operations at a mastery level (upon training)
  • Articulate communication skills in multiple mediums (spoken, written, group presentation, etc.) to a variety of staff – clinical staff, non-clinical staff, temporary employees, and executive leadership
  • Finely tuned project and budget management skills
  • Unrelentingly detail oriented
  • Able to multitask and prioritize work for self and install team
  • Familiarity with multiple ERP platforms
  • Working knowledge of statistical process controls
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office applications
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Unnervingly collaborative, proactive, professional, and respectful demeanor in every scenario and situation
  • Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, crouch, push/pull, and lift up to 35 pounds
  • Available to travel, sometimes extensively, and relocate to new client assignments
Primary Responsibilities

General Management:

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  • Trains and certifies client representatives to sustain and improvement program
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the installation project and scope
  • Effectively applies BlueBin’s methodology and enforces program standards
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Minimizes BlueBin’s exposure and risk on the BlueBin projects
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and secured appropriately (protected)


  • Facilitates team meetings effectively
  • Attends and contributes to client meetings with PM
  • Attends and contributes to regular status meetings with project team
  • Keeps project team well informed of general news and changes within the organization
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors and client
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion

Technical Understanding: 

  • Possesses understanding in the areas of ERP systems, specialty software, and system design
  • Possesses understanding of advanced supply chain management work flows including those associated with a LUM distribution processes
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of BlueBin’s capabilities
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements

  • Forecasts and manages project budget, inventory, and supplies
  • Complies with and helps to create and enforce standard policies and procedures
